We take great pride in our welcoming, community-centered schools and love hosting visitors throughout the year. To enhance campus security and streamline the check-in process, we are transitioning to
Circool—a simple, secure system for guest management.
Here’s how it works:
When you visit our schools, show your Circool Pass (QR Code) on your phone to check in at the Self-Service Kiosk in the front office. Select where you’re headed, and your visitor badge will print instantly. It’s quick and easy!
When will I use Circool?
- Visiting the School: For individual meetings, lunches, etc.
- Checking your child In or Out: Circool helps the school confirm that students are being checked in or out by an approved adult.
- Attending School Events: School events appear in Circool so you can RSVP and access your event pass before you arrive. Please note we will not be using Circool for Meet the Teacher and Open House. Schools will communicate ahead of large events to clarify how guests can use Circool.
How do I get Circool?
- Make sure your email and phone number are updated in PowerSchool. This is how Circool will communicate with you.
- On August 7th, you will receive your Circool activation email with the subject line: "Homewood City Schools invites you to Circool"
- In that email, click “Activate My Account” to complete your profile. It only takes a minute. If you do not receive an email, please call your school’s front office.
How will I use Circool?
- Tap the Circool icon on your phone or login at https://my.circool.com/
- Show your Circool Pass QR Code to the iPad Kiosk or to the Front Desk.
- Your name badge will print.
